License clarification request for redistribution + downstream use
#125
by Zaithe - opened
Hi Kijai,
We're using Kijai/WanVideo_comfy as a load-bearing asset source for a
downstream Wan-Animate deployment, specifically pulling these files into
a redistributed deployment:
umt5-xxl-enc-bf16.safetensorsopen-clip-xlm-roberta-large-vit-huge-14_visual_fp16.safetensorsWan2_1_VAE_bf16.safetensorsLightx2v/lightx2v_I2V_14B_480p_cfg_step_distill_rank64_bf16.safetensorsLoRAs/Wan22_relight/WanAnimate_relight_lora_fp16.safetensors
The repo's HuggingFace cardData currently has nolicense:field, and
there's no LICENSE file in the repo root. Could you confirm the license
terms under which these assets are redistributed?
Per our project's license discipline (Apache-2.0 / MIT / BSD / MPL-2.0
only; no CC-BY-NC / AGPL / GPL), an explicit license declaration would
let us proceed with confidence. Underlying upstreams (UMT5, CLIP, Wan2.1)
are permissive, but the asset bundle itself needs an explicit term.
Thanks for maintaining this resource — it's been load-bearing for a lot
of us.
