STEM advanced degree students such as myself need a way to access HuggingFace Pro for our research without paying $9 per month and having inference limits. Students who can provide proof that they attend an accredited university should be able to use the platform essentially for free. Why is this not a standard at HuggingFace? How can we change this? Even Github, Google Colab, Dagshub and many other providers provide student plans where we get access to Pro for free.
