+The aim of GALMA is to promote research, training and knowledge transfer in the area of media accessibility for the benefit of people who, for different reasons, cannot have access to original audiovisual media. The work carried out within GALMA is aligned with a wide notion of media accessibility that concerns people with disabilities, cognitive impairments and learning or age-related difficulties, but also users without disabilities who may need linguistic access to audiovisual content produced in a foreign language.
